Welcoming to All
Visitors, new Muslims, elders, and people of all backgrounds are greeted with warmth, patience, and practical help. No one enters the masjid as a stranger.
Masjid Ul Ummah is a welcoming Islamic center where worship is beautiful, learning is accessible, and every family can feel part of something meaningful.
وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا
"And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided."
(Surah Al-Imran 3:103)
Masjid Ul Ummah was born from a simple yet powerful intention: a place where the adhan is heard five times a day, children learn the Quran with love, and every neighbour finds a hand extended in support.
Over the years, through the generosity of this community and the grace of Allah, what began as a humble prayer space has grown into a full Islamic centre — offering daily salah, Quran education, youth programs, social services, and Ramadan night gatherings that light up the whole neighbourhood.
A brief look at how Masjid Ul Ummah grew from a humble prayer room into a thriving Islamic centre.
A small gathering of families held the first Jumu'ah salah in a rented community hall. The dream of a permanent masjid was born.
Through community donations and years of planning, the first dedicated prayer hall was opened — Alhamdulillah. Five daily prayers began immediately.
The Quran madrasah opened with 22 students. Classes for Qaida, Quran recitation, and Islamic manners were launched with three dedicated teachers.
The masjid expanded to include a dedicated sisters' prayer hall, wudu facilities, a library, youth meeting room, and community kitchen for events.
The madrasah grew to over 120 students. New programs including a sisters' Quran circle, youth mentoring, and faith counselling services were launched.
Daily prayers, weekly community events, Ramadan programs, Eid celebrations, educational classes, and social services — the masjid is alive with purpose and gratitude.
Visitors, new Muslims, elders, and people of all backgrounds are greeted with warmth, patience, and practical help. No one enters the masjid as a stranger.
Every class, reminder, and program is rooted in authentic Quran and Sunnah. We seek to educate with wisdom, clarity, and mercy.
We support our community through counsel, charity, food, Janazah guidance, and practical care — because Islam is lived, not just learned.
